► Special education and English Language Learner programs are offered at all grade levels on a part time and full time basis. A one year newcomer program is offered to students new to the district who have never attended school in the United States.
► Art, music, and physical education are provided to all students.
► Middle schools offer 10 athletic opportunities and numerous extracurricular activities.
► Members of the NIC-10 conference, both high schools offer 25 different athletic opportunities.
► 12 advanced placement courses and 19 extracurricular activities are offered at both high schools.
► Forty-two students completed the Running Start program at Rock Valley College in the spring of 2010, and graduated May 24, 2011 with a high school diploma and an Associate Degree. Forty-five more students started in the fall of 2010 and will graduate in 2012. Running Start is available for qualified high school students and is offered at no charge.
