Third Grade
THIRD GRADE NEWS
It’s been a busy month for the third-graders. They have been expanding their horizons by continuing their work on the solar system. They’ve created projects and written essays about planets, comets, asteroids, the Sun and the Milky Way galaxy. In Social Studies, we have been learning about Greek and Roman myths and American tall tales. Along with that students had fun trying to write their own tall tales. Many third-graders also have been crafting letters for their Flat Stanley projects. And at long last, they put their skills to work answering questions on their ISAT tests. Thank you for encouraging them to do their best on the tests. In April, we’re looking forward to Family Reading Night as well going on a couple of fun, educational field trips to Ag Days, which is hosted by the Boone County Farm Bureau, and the Discovery Center. We hope everyone enjoyed our spring break!
