Learning Disabilities/Self Contained Classroom

Specialized Instruction is a modified curriculum of all the core subject areas. Students are placed in this program through a teacher or parent referral, who have met the criteria for the diagnosis of a learning disability. A learning disability is an exceptional characteristic that adversely affects a child's educational performance and requires special education and related services.
