Band Instrument Tryout Night!

Attention all 5th grade students and families! 

We invite you to come and join us on Monday, March 16th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for our annual D100 Band Instrument Try Out Night! All 5th grade and current 6th grade students in the district are invited to come and test out some instruments to see if they would be interested in participating in 6th or 7th grade beginning band next year. Students attending Central or South Middle School are invited to attend. This event will be open house style, so come when you can! 

At this event, you will be able to: 

• Test out the different instruments and pick your favorite!
• Meet your band director(s)! 
• Meet with Voigt Music Shop to get your instrument and music material information set up! 

If you are unable to attend but would still like to choose an instrument, we will have another opportunity at the open house in April. This event is not mandatory to sign up for band, but it is strongly encouraged to attend so that we can honor your first preference of instrument. *Students interested in percussion will have a short unprepared audition on this night 3/16/26 to be eligible for percussion class, due to limited class spots.*
