NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS CONCERNING THE INTENT OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF BELVIDERE CUSD 100, TO DISCUSS THE DECISION TO POSSIBLY CLOSE A SCHOOL BUILDING
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the community of Belvidere CUSD 100. The Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the 15th day of April 2024, at 5:30 p.m. The hearing will be held at The D100 District Office 1201 5th Avenue, Belvidere, IL. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive input from the community, to discuss the potential reconfiguration of our school buildings, and to discuss the decision to possibly close Perry Elementary School, 633 W. Perry Street, Belvidere, IL. By order of the President of the Board of Education of Belvidere CUSD 100.

The purpose of the hearing will be to receive input from the community, to discuss the potential reconfiguration of our school buildings, and to discuss the decision to possibly close Perry Elementary School, 633 W. Perry Street, Belvidere, IL. By order of the President of the Board of Education of Belvidere CUSD 100.
NOTE: You must be present in order to participate. The hearings held at the District Office will be livestreamed; the hearing held at Perry Elementary will not be livestreamed. Spanish language translation services will be available at all hearings. Should you need other translation services, please reach out to the District Office at 815-544-0301.
The Belvidere School District is governed by a seven member Board of Education consisting of four members from Belvidere Township and three members from the remaining townships. All board members are non-paid, elected officials who serve four-year terms. The school board election is nonpartisan, and candidates do not run under political party affiliations.
