Facilities Master Plan

The Facilities and Long Range Planning Committee has spent the last year visiting all of the District's schools, reviewing the District's demographic study, reviewing the District's Facility Assessment, and preparing for and reviewing the District's Master Plan.  Additionally, a Facilities Master Plan Design Team composed of approximately 50 stakeholders was formed last year and continued to meet this school year to create the District's 10-Year Master Facilities Plan.

The Master Facility Plan includes plans to upgrade the District’s entrances for better safety and security, the creation of additional collaborative spaces at our sites, and the development of private and more secure bathrooms.  In addition, the Master Plan will address issues from the Facilities Assessment to include HVAC, roofs, and classroom spaces.  The Master Plan also includes options to add a District PreK Facility, an expansion to the District's Alternative High School, Everest High School and options to upgrade the facilities at Perry Elementary School or to close Perry Elementary School.

At our annual Town Hall on April 4th, representatives from Larson and Darby and Cunningham as well as members of the Master Facilities Plan Design Team presented scenarios, feedback, and next steps from the Master Facilities Master Plan Design Team.

We also held three public hearings to receive input from the community.
