Social-Emotional Executive Development (S.E.E.D.S.)
Our SEEDS (Structured Emotional and Executive Development Support) Program is designed to provide a nurturing, structured, and individualized educational environment for students with behavioral concerns or emotional disabilities. This special education classroom is rooted in a belief that every student can succeed with the right support. The program focuses on building academic skills, emotional resilience, and positive behavior strategies.
Students benefit from small class sizes, personalized instruction, and a team of dedicated professionals, including a special education teacher, social worker, counselors, and support staff, who collaborate to meet each child’s unique needs. Our curriculum aligns with state standards while integrating social-emotional learning and behavioral support throughout the school day. Special Education teams hold IEP meetings with families to review behavioral data and determine appropriate supports for each individual student.
The program emphasizes positive reinforcement, trauma-informed practices, and restorative approaches to discipline, helping students develop self-regulation skills, confidence, and healthy relationships. Through consistent support and strong family partnerships, we aim to empower students to thrive both in school and beyond.
