Initial Eligibility

This meeting occurs before the end of the 60-day evaluation timeline to review the results of the evaluation and determine if a student is eligible for special education services.

Reevaluation Meeting

This meeting occurs every three years after a student is found eligible for special education services to determine if updated assessment is needed and to review continued eligibility for special education services.

Annual Review

This meeting occurs every year following a student’s eligibility for special education services. The team gets together to review student progress towards IEP goals and makes changes to the IEP.

Manifestation Determination Review

Within 10 school days of any decision to change the placement of a child with a disability because of violation of school code, the IEP team must review all relevant information in the student's file to determine if the conduct in question was caused by the child's disability or if the conduct was a direct result of the school district's failure to implement the child's IEP.
